Home Information Packs (HIPs) – The Current Position

The government has confirmed that Home Information Packs (HIPs) will be going ahead as planned from 1st August 2007, initially for 4-bedroomed residential properties. Some changes have been made to the regulations to ease their introduction, along with a phased approach based on property size and additional incentives to encourage the early uptake of Energy Performance Certficates (EPCs).
